Five selected for International Karate Championship in UK


Chandigarh: Five Karate players have been selected for the International Championship in the UK. The chosen names were announced at the recently concluded 4th National Sikh Games Taekwondo Championship recently held in New Delhi under the aegis of the Sikh Games Federation of India.

The 4th National Sikh Games Taekwondo Championship occurred at Kant Darshan Public School, New Delhi. In this championship, players Jaspreet Singh, Rupinder Singh, Simran Kaur, and Amandeep Kaur won gold medals, while Ranjit Singh and

Jaswinder Kumar won the silver medals, and the bronze medal winners were Jagdeep Singh, Preetam Dass, Balram Hakla, Rohtas Singh, and Amit Kumar.

Satnam Singh, general secretary, said that he and four other players including Simran Kaur, Jaspreet Singh, Rupinder Singh and Hardip Singh got selected for the upcoming International  Karate  Championship in the UK. In the National Sikh Games, Hardip Singh ws the team helper, Baljinder Singh was the team coach, and Ajit Singh was the team manager.
