Five selected for International Karate Championship in UK

Chandigarh: Five Karate players have been selected for the International Championship in the UK. The chosen names were announced at the recently concluded 4th National Sikh Games Taekwondo Championship recently held in New Delhi under the aegis of the Sikh Games Federation of India.

The 4th National Sikh Games Taekwondo Championship occurred at Kant Darshan Public School, New Delhi. In this championship, players Jaspreet Singh, Rupinder Singh, Simran Kaur, and Amandeep Kaur won gold medals, while Ranjit Singh and

Jaswinder Kumar won the silver medals, and the bronze medal winners were Jagdeep Singh, Preetam Dass, Balram Hakla, Rohtas Singh, and Amit Kumar.

Satnam Singh, general secretary, said that he and four other players including Simran Kaur, Jaspreet Singh, Rupinder Singh and Hardip Singh got selected for the upcoming International  Karate  Championship in the UK. In the National Sikh Games, Hardip Singh ws the team helper, Baljinder Singh was the team coach, and Ajit Singh was the team manager.

Steephan from Kerala creates record in identifying 119 types of dinosaurs

  Alappuzha, Kerala : The record for identifying the maximum number of species of dinosaurs was set by Steephan Varghese Sony from Alappuzha, Kerala. Steephan who now lives in Abu Dhabi (UAE), identified the pictures of 119 dinosaurs, with their correct names, within 5 minutes and 29 seconds, at an young age of 5 years, 5 months and 13 days, as confirmed on December 12, 2020 by the India Book of Records. Steephan (born on June 29, 2015) is titled as ‘Grand Master’ for identifying the maximum number of species of dinosaurs. He was keenly interested in animals since childhood and was fond of watching dinosaur fossils videos on YouTube. He also liked to collect dinosaur toys at his home. In conversation with Ayaz Ismail, here's his take on the project. What is iThinkSmart exactly?   To just simplify and say - iThinkSmart is a Learning Center and Sound Design Studio. What is the idea behind iThinkSmart?   iThinkSmart was a dream plan, the learning aspect of it came much later, as studio was the main attraction to the business.
