Over 100 HR professionals attend regional meet on labour laws
Chandigarh : NIPM -National Institute of Personnel Management (Punjab Chapter), a Not-for-profit premier body dedicated to the development of Human Resource (HR) professionals, organized a day Workshop on “Statutory compliances under Labour legislation covering new Labour codes & Misconduct in employment and disciplinary procedures”, at PHD Chamber House, Chandigarh . The objective of the program was to provide a platform for HR professionals to interact with Central and State government authorities seeking clarifications and preparing for the hassle-free implementation of New Labour Codes as and when the Government announced its implementation. The program was well attended by more than 100 Human Resources(HR) and Industrial Relations (IR) professionals across the industries from PSUs, Pharma, IT, Health care, and other industries from the states of Punjab , Haryana, Himachal and UT Chandigarh.
