Sanghasena calls medical pros to join Global Doctors Association
Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena Chandigarh : Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC), over 3-decades old educational and spiritual NGO based in Leh (Ladakh) has appealed to the international medical community to extend their support to the health services in remote Himalayas . Doctors are given a call to join the Global Doctors Association of the Himalaya (GDAH). The medical care available in the high Himalayas is inadequate for the local communities. There are not enough well-equipped hospitals with qualified doctors.
