From langar for workers at construction sites and offices to education, AIPL’s CSR initiative offers a lot

Chandigarh: Showing its commitment to giving back to the roots and firming up the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) ecosystem in Punjab, AIPL (Advance India Projects Limited), one of the most respected real estate developers, has joined hands with charitable organizations like Sikh Humanitarian Society and Shri Guru Granth Sahib Vidya Kendra to impart free education to needy children.

AIPL is perhaps the only realty sector developer which organizes community kitchens on its sites for construction workers and office staff, catering to 2000 plus people every day.

“CSR is very close to our heart. It is an integral part of our mission statement and is non-negotiable. At AIPL, we believe in giving back to society and walking the talk to grow inclusively. We are focusing a lot on expanding the scope of our CSR in Punjab where our footprint is majorly increasing due to our delivered, ongoing, and upcoming real estate developments,” said Pankaj Pal, Group Executive Director, AIPL.

"We are committed to increasing investment levels in Punjab and our CSR initiatives too will grow in tandem with our investment goals in the state," Pal said further.

From playing a vital role in supporting the education and upbringing of children below the poverty line with multiple NGOs like Nirmal Ashram - Rishikesh, Sikh Humanitarian Society, Nirmal Education Society, and Shri Guru Granth Sahib Vidya Kendra to make an educated and prosperous India, AIPL does quite a bit in the CSR arena.

According to Pal, AIPL also supports organizations like The Earth Saviour, Gurugram, Handicapped Children Rehabilitation Association (HCRA) with a common vision to improve the living standards of differently challenged and underprivileged people in the society. “We at AIPL follow a holistic approach. We carry out regular assessment of our CSR works and keep improving them according to social needs,” he added.

With over three decades in the real estate development business, AIPL has so far reached out to a large number of needy people with a bucket of help, hope, and compassion. “We do attach a lot of importance to our stakeholders at every level. Workers and their children matter to us a lot. They are the most important cog in our collective pursuits to achieve excellence. It gives us immense happiness and satisfaction to be with them as they are part of AIPL family,” summed up Pal.
