Chandigarh Girl Becomes First Indian to Win at International Jewellery Designing Contest

There is some good news for tricity amid the COVID 19 pandemic. Twenty-Eight-Year Old Ms Pavit Gujral an upcoming jewellery designer from Chandigarh has created history for India by becoming the first Indian jewellery designer to win an award at the recently held prestigious Saul Bell Design Awards (SBDA) 2020 at Albuquerque , New Mexico , USA . It is noteworthy that SBDA has come to be known as the Mecca for recognising and honouring jewellery design talent from across the world since the last 20 years. The awards are held every year and this year these were supported by Rio Grande one of the best jewellery supply chains in the world. Pavit bagged not just one but two awards in coveted categories.
