Ashajit organises 8th Annual event 'Teeyan Teej diya' in Mohali at Hotel Anchorage .

Mohali: The stage was setup beautifully with items reflecting Punjabi culture i.e charkas, madhanis , daris, palkis, chullas , and great craft of Punjab in the form of phulkari, Punjabi jutties by Ms Ashajit and her friends. The event was lived with various Punjabi culture performances by Women and girls dress up in Punjabi attire. All participated in high spirits.

Traditional bollyian were sung to welcome guests and start of festival celebration. Newly married girls were presented with gifts as sandharas. Ms. Ashajit along will her gidda team Sona Pinky, Baljeet , Dr. Rabia Gund Advocate Amandeep Kaur , Satvir , Karamjit , Gurwant Dhaliwal, Rajinder Kaur , Jaspreet , Varinder , Gurjit kaur and Sangeeta uplift the event by Gidha performance at the end.

Along with entertainment and celebration, it was small efforts to promote, protect and keep Pubjabi culture and heritage alive in the hearts of everyone nationally and internationally. The event was a successful celebration. Ms Ashajit wishes all happy teej and all well-being.

  Visakhapatnam : Kalidindi Hardik Varma of West Godavari , Andhra Pradesh has got appreciation certificate from the India Book of Records (IBR) for participating in the National School Open Chess Championship (under six years) held in November 2019. The National School Open Chess Championship (under six years) 2019 was organised by the All India Chess Federation (AICF). Kalidindi Hardik Varma secured one out of nine points with 110th rank in the competition. The child, Kalidindi Hardik Varma, born on March 17, 2016 in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, won this chess competition at the tender age of three years and eight months only. Raiganj:  Biplab Kumar Mondal of Karnajora, Raiganj, Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal , has received appreciation from the India Book of Records (IBR) for spreading Covid awareness messages among the people. Mondal spread this awareness in the villages, markets, localities by distributing kites to the kids with awareness messages written on them, by providing masks and offering sanitizers. He also delivered medicines from door-to-door and organized awareness by displaying posters and banners on the motorcycle. Mondal, born on September 1, 1978, said, “I started my activities from the very beginning of the spread of Covid-19 in our country.
