India Book of Record: Hyderabadi kid Jaasritha sets new records

Hyderabad: Jaasritha Nelipudi (born on  21st September, 2018) from Hyderabad, Telangana, is appreciated by India Book of Record (IBR) for reciting one to 10 in Hindi, A to Z phonetics; identifying six chess symbols, Telugu Alphabets, 15 food items, eight birds, 23 animals, 30 parts of the body, five insects, five sea animals, 22 shapes and math symbols, nine colours, 17 vegetables, 13 fruits; reading any number between one to 100; mimicking the sounds of five animals; and typing A to Z on a keyboard, at a tender age of one year and 11 months, as confirmed on September 19, 2020.

Jaasritha is having very good memory in identifying things around her. She is remembers everything quickly. Her parents wanted to do something to encourage her. Finally, in Google search, they found IBR and its records for kids. Then they started recording videos to apply for this. She did practice for about two to three months for this record.

Her parents were surprised to see that Jaasritha was able to remember all 52 Telugu alphabets with only 1-2 narrations. She was able to recognize all of them and was able to read them accurately without having any background narrations. “This inspired us to do something for her and hence we applied for the record,” said her parents.

Due to age limitation, Jaasritha’s parents were unable to capture most of the videos and they did not have a professional camera also, which impacted the quality of the video footage. “This is very first award for Jaasritha. At this time, she got six confirmed world records,” they quipped.
